My own opinion is that the guy never intended to jump... He had plenty of opportunities to do so and didn't... Instead he lets rescuers pull him inside... I have no sympathy because all he succeeded in doing was to monopolize emergency services and prevent someone who might REALLY need help from being able to get it...

That's not to say I wish he'd have jumped... It just means he should have went to the hospital and asked for help himself and saved emergency services ( EMS...Fire Dept...and police ) in case someone suffered a cardiac arrest...stroke...diabetic emergency or anything life threatening... But no...it actually looked as if he were taunting and playing some "catch me if you can" games... Guess he never read the children's book "The Little Boy Who Cried Wolf"...
