Attempted Stabbing Attack Reported in West Bank, Terrorist Neutralized
April 27, 2023- An attempted ramming and stabbing attack was thwarted on Thursday evening at the West Bank’s Gitti Avishar intersection near Ariel. No Israelis were hurt. The terrorist was neutralized. The Israeli military (IDF) said that the terrorist "arrived by car at the Gitti Avishar intersection in the (area overseen by the) Ephraim Brigade, turned into the opposite lane and tried to run over civilians and security personnel, who were at the intersection." After that, the terrorist got out of his car with a knife and tried to stab a policeman. The IDF soldiers, who were operating there, shot and neutralized him, according to the military report. The terrorist was identified as A.T, born in 1983 and residing in a Palestinian city of Salfit in the central West Bank. Source |

The west Bank is such a deceptive name for a land mass 40 miles wide perpendicular to the river of which it is supposedly the bank of.
