April 27, 2023- An attempted ramming and stabbing attack was thwarted on Thursday evening at the West Bank’s Gitti Avishar intersection near Ariel. No Israelis were hurt. The terrorist was neutralized. The Israeli military (IDF) said that the terrorist "arrived by car at the Gitti Avishar intersection in the (area overseen by the) Ephraim Brigade, turned into the opposite lane and tried to run over civilians and security personnel, who were at the intersection." After that, the terrorist got out of his car with a knife and tried to stab a policeman. The IDF soldiers, who were operating there, shot and neutralized him, according to the military report.
