Attempted Robbery Leaves Man Shot Dead
A man was gunned down this past Wednesday night in the municipality of Rondonópolis. V.A.F., age 60, who is the president of the Community Council for Public Security (Conseg), was at the front of his residence with his wife and a couple friends when an armed man walked up announcing a robbery. The incident happened around 9pm local time. 'V' was also armed and reacted quickly, resulting in the exchange of fire between him and the gunman. Unfortunately he was hit several times and died on the spot. A 43 year old friend of 'V' was also shot but currently there is no information on the status of his health. Four people, two women and two men, were later arrested after stealing a vehicle and running from police. A witness identified one of the men as the gunman who is now in custody.   |

Even a president of the Community Council for Public Security isn't safe. Wonder if it was a targeted killing instead of a robbery though.

Well...that was an intense example of the dead man's10 seconds... It's too bad.... the only thing that "thief" managed to rob was the opportunity for the president to get some revenge. And he can't even take full credit for that because the car door did most of the work. The last couple shots from El Presidente couldve ruined that dudes whole night. |

Made the biggest mistake of confronting the killer as soon as he arrived. Every perpetrator is on high alert while approaching.The brave oldie should have acted like others standing with him.There were 4 of them,there could have been many opportunities to steal the moment and shoot the ****** if he went along the flow
