Mexico. A state policeman stopped a robbery on a public transport bus that was traveling on the Mexico Puebla Highway near the municipality of Tláhuac. The incident happened back on June 24th but the security footage was recently released on social media.

The two assailants got on the bus in the Zaragoza Metro at the height of Puente de la Concordia, announcing a robbery and taking passengers possessions.

A man who was part of the Auxiliary Security Corps of the State of Mexico (CUASEM) took out his weapon and fired at the two, which resulted in a shootout.

The two men died as well as the police officer who later succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital. Two passengers were injured during the incident also.

Brave but seems stupid and risk to all of the lives around him. Also, you can't take cover behind a cloth seat, that robber nailed him right out of the gate. If the officer could have hit him with a clean head shot, he may have had a chance. Instead he wildly fired his weapon after the first two shots where the robber took aim and nailed him.

It was his duty to use his gun. Otherwise we would have been just another useless cop, plenty of them everywhere.

What a weird shot that front robber did. He could have hit his partner...?! No?
Did both have a gun? The back robber doesn’t look like he shoots. And doesn’t look shot up.
Were there 3 robbers? At the end there 2 men are being attacked. 1 is the robber, gets the bag taken away from him. But then the other passengers are also beating on a man right behind that robber.

Were the 2 innocent passengers hit by the cops bullets or robbers? Or were they injured from something else? Like heart attack or something.

Is the bus in a center lane with lanes on each side with vehicles just zooming by?

That's what happens when Latrinos have too many babies, cops and robbers can't even have proper shootouts with swarms of people in the way.

The shootout reminded me of The Wild Bunch, when the temperance parade gets caught in the middle of a shootout. If they ever remake this movie I get to play Bo Hopkins' "Crazy Lee" character.

Exactly!!! He should have waited until the right time like when they are leaving together backs turned definitely not split and at opposite ends of the bus, what an idiot cop! stupidity and zero common sense under pressure, cost him his life.
