Armed Attack on Bus Leaves 5 Dead, 3 Injured
An armed attack on the E487 highway in Ecuador yesterday afternoon left five dead and three wounded. Four heavily armed men intercepted bus number 29 and opened fire on eight people, five of whom died and three others were injured. The deceased victims were identified as Luis A. C. M, Jesse V. C, and brothers Leonardo, Álvaro, and Elmerson F. P. The three injured, two of whom are now in stable condition, were identified as Darío F. P., Kevin C. F., and Norma P. Police investigations, suggest this was a selective execution rather than a random robbery. |

That is why I will never travel anywhere in Central or South America... Too many 'wrong place, wrong time' deaths for my comfort! Speaking of, I wonder who the actual targets were, and how many other people were killed. |
