Also, there was no attempt to jaw thrust or secure the airway, no defibrillation. I'm sure the rescue may have attempted some of this, possibly even intubation, but I'm also pretty sure he was pronounced on scene. I do commend the neighbor though. He was pretty awesome. People live far apart in rural areas and he rushed over to help being a new neighbor and tried to comfort the mom while also following directions over the phone to attempt compressions the best he could with no formal training.
