Is passing out from pain a myth? I've seen sooooo many people on here endure so much pain.....I guess I always thought it would/could get to a point that a body would but dayum sure doesn't seem like it happens often.....

It's a real thing but it's actually only a small minority of people who are susceptible to it. It's not a normal human thing; having your body react to distress/pain by fainting isn't a super functional way to deal with problems :). That's a different situation than people going into shock, which is quite common and happens in a lot of these videos. But it usually takes awhile and isn't super sudden. |
