Roger that, that is exactly why squad formations should stagger the columns and spread out at least 5-10 meters from one another to avoid multiple casualties. These clowns must have missed that class at their training camp...

statistically and historically for U.S. forces , the first to get hit is the light machine gunner. Second to get hit is the radio operator. Third, the Corpsman/medic gets hit trying to rescue.
