Re: Albuquerque PD Releases Video of Controversial Shooting
All I can truly say about the scenario is that none of us were there.. All the intel we have is on the video. It was even a shitty lapel cam at that.. None the less, we don't know the complete extent of circumstance in the scenario that escalated. I do know one thing. If I were the officer and I thought he had a gun in his hand??? EASY CHOICE... Im going home tonight ALIVE. |

Re: Albuquerque PD Releases Video of Controversial Shooting
Knife, brake-pad or gun. Having known several cops, If someone is pointing something that may look like a gun (especially after threatening with a knife), that bastard is going down. Easy to judge a cop when you essentially have no fucking clue what they do day-in and day-out. Fuck off cop haters. |

Re: Albuquerque PD Releases Video of Controversial Shooting
They'll say the shoot was justified, probably give the cop a medal of valor or something for shooting a kid 100 feet away from him that was holding a knife that he did not even get a chance to drop before johnny law started firing. Even if the shooting was justified, the cops treatment of the dude sure wasn't. I counted 18-19 shots but with two shooters its hard to tell. I wish we could see the coroners report--guaranteed if there were 18 shots, 16 of them hit the kid when he was already dropped. Holy shit already--enough is fucking enough.
