Yeah, it's kind of surprising to have an army with no air defense. Maybe they don't have the funding to keep them running.

As others have stated, this was probably not an anti-personnel munition. In a way it makes sense to stick with an anti-armor variant, unless you know you're going to be targeting squishy humans. While an anti-armor munition won't kill as many soldiers, it retains the capability to take out a greater range of equipment. Now if you want to just scour an area clean without resorting to explosives, you can't go wrong with an A-10 strafing run. Jump to 4:45 for the fireworks. |

The group that bombed them are supported by france and russia so its possible the attackers have better gear than hitfers regime. The people you see are the military guys for the de facto government and have the same geae that gaddafis men had. In short no, they dont really have an air force and probably dont have ground to air tech |
