Aftermath - Technician Killed After Air Conditioning Unit Exploded
Maceió, Alagoas state, Brazil An air condition repairman, 38-year-old G.M.C., was killed when, whilst doing maintenance work on an air conditioner, the equipment exploded. The fire brigade and paramedics were called to the scene, but G. couldn't resist his serious injuries and died the following morning. He had worked at a refrigeration company for fifteen years. |

By the looks of the burns on his arms, I'm guessing he might have shorted the 220V and that caused the fan to rapidly disintegrate, resembling an explosion... |
