An employee was shot dead and was decapitated inside the Hospital Instituto Doutor José Frota (IJF), in Fortaleza, Ceará state, Brazil, this Tuesday morning (23). The body of the victim, who worked in the hospital pantry, was left lying in the unit's cafeteria. Another person was also injured.

According to the state's Secretary of Public Safety, the suspect in the crime (2nd pic) was a former hospital employee who was fired more than a year ago. He gained access to the health unit via facial recognition, which still granted him access. It is believed the murder was motivated by jealousy.

the crime had passionate motives, as the criminal is the partner of a Hospital employee and was jealous of the woman. the suspect's partner works at the hospital and the crime was motivated by jealousy. "He had already been showing the attitudes of a jealous person and had already given signs that he could do something similar to that," she explained.

How much of a brain meltdown you must have to decapitate another over some jealousy which is often based on your own overreacting thoughts instead of facts.
