Re: Aftermath-Accident Leaves Girl Broken
Frickin' moped/scooter drivers. Okay, many car drivers text-and-drive or don't pay attention, but these mofos drive like they own the street and rarely wear helmets or protective gear. I would never get on a bike without a helmet, it's suicide. When you drive a scooter with flipflops, beachwear and no helmet you are simply asking for it.

Re: Aftermath-Accident Leaves Girl Broken
I've been near three bike accidents so far. First one, a dumbass vespa driver smashes on a Varadero and the next moment there are 10-12 bike drivers on the street. The vespa driver died on the spot, head smashed on the pavement. None of them had a helmet on. Too shocked to film it. Second one, a moped driver skews off the road on a slopy, curvy exit of the highway. He was probably going 55-60 MPH, too little tire friction. Not much left of him, also too shocked to film the aftermath. Last one, a kid crosses a red light on 30 MPH, hits a minivan, the traffic light and ends up inside the glass screen of a nearby drugstore. I get my mobile, start to take pics, the police arrive and they "confiscate" my phone for "illegally filming a crime scene". Next time I'm bringing a keyfob spycam...
