It appears his upper body is caught in the landing gear doors after they closed, so his legs are flailing around in the slipstream. This is likely what led to "human remains" being found when they landed, after half of him finally broke off. |

I have seen several videos since, of large groups of Afghans leaving on U.S. Air Force aircraft, so they apparently are searching them and letting them on board, now. I'm glad we are making an effort to get the individuals who assisted us, out of the country. It is the least we can do. All their lives and families are in jeopardy from the Taliban now. Just so we don't abandon them, like we did all the Vietnamese that we left behind. |
