One of the reasons they gave for refusing to carry any Afghan refugees is that they were afraid the Taliban would put a suicide bomber on board during such a refugee trip, thus blowing up the aircraft. So everyone was told "NO REFUGEES"

There's a part of me that doesn't blame them for that kind of thinking, but another part of me is just screaming that an evacuation attempt should have been made for at least the women and children, the ones who are now TRULY defenseless under fundamental Islamic law.
