I read about this recently in the news. The men with AK's were definitely Taliban and the reason the shooting was so poor, was because the man was forced to shoot the other man. -Will |

It's not that obvious. Local clans, not related to the Taliban, could have executed this execution the same way as well. Maybe he didn't knew how the AK worked & needed some help/instructions  |

This was reported by CNN also, according to them the condemned man had murdered the husband of the woman he was having an affair with, the executioner was the father of the murdered man, and was instructed to fire three shot only to kill him. After the third shot the man behind him yells, "Stop it you ass!" This was a verdict given by a tribal council in a small village in Afghanistan, nothing new or different.
