A traffic accident was reported at kilometer 33 of the road to El Salvador, in the area known as the "El Chilero" turn, according to the Volunteer Firefighters.

According to the official report from the Volunteer Firefighters, emergency units were sent to the scene after receiving the alert about the traffic accident.

The elements of the black helmet that are reported preliminarily: two people dead and two injured at the scene of the accident.

This may be a bit nitpicky (my apologies), but it would be helpful to put "AFTERMATH" in the title for vids like this so those of us who have burned out on it can skip them and move on to other vids that show the deaths as they happen.

It looks like the large flatbed truck was carrying a load of cinder blocks, was traveling at an unsafe rate of speed and lost its load over a motorcycle or two. I’m guessing it was one bike with two passengers that took the full impact from the falling blocks of cement. It’s definitely a good mess that’s going to take a while to sort out and clean up and is going to be a long day for many people traveling that road that day..

The curve is in Guatemala on the road to El Salvador if i'm right. Steep curve with many accidents, esp. heavy trucks and buses due to overheated and then failing brakes and speed.

Florida is the primary exit point for used trucks heading to central America. Trucks often get bought at auctions in central Florida, near Orlando and therefore close to DeLand. They get shipped directly to Guatemala’s main ports and further distributed so the mud flaps don't get removed in most cases.

People driving a gringo truck, like they say, showing DeLand mud flaps shows where the truck started its journey and shows more status.
