A motorcyclist died in a traffic accident that occurred this Friday (17th) on BR-222, in the rural area of Marabá, southeast of Pará.

The victim, identified as Hugo Deleon Silva Pardal, succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene. According to the Civil Police, the accident is under investigation and expert analysis has been requested to help clarify the case.

The truck driver involved in the incident reported that the accident occurred around 4:20 p.m. He said traffic was flowing normally when he saw a pickup truck in front of him and, directly behind him, a motorcycle.
