When using blinkers the lane assist disengages, he turned them off while the car was not yet in the right lane, its possible that the car tried to “correct” by returning the lane it was mostly in. You need to steer rather hard to ‘fight’ the automatic steering so my guess is he was like “wtf is the car doing?!”
So likely also fatigue but I think machine/steering computer error as well

It appears that the vehicle (truck?) that caught the entire accident on their dash cam, drove over one of the unfortunate ejected passengers before he could pull over and stop.
Anybody else catch that?

I once experienced this while being in a rental car, freaked me out. If this is indeed the cause the driver must have not been familiair with the car and that would be a really sad reason for 7 ppl dead.
