Poor kid. The most dangerous time for a woman being abused by her partner is when she finally leaves him. And then she still gets blamed. Because yeah, a 40 year age gap is no biggie.  I hope this piece of shit has an extremely difficult time in prison.

Beat me by five: 50 - 19 (now 76 - 45). Worked out beautifully all around. The success (or not) of relationships depends on the characteristics, values, and interests of the specific individuals involved, not on their demographic categories.
