4 Dead when Truck Transporting 65 People, Driven by a 15 Year Old Overturned
Nicaragua, Lack of skill in driving and an improper turn resulted in the accident in which 4 people died and 45 others were injured while traveling in a truck driven by a 15 year old teenager, according to the Police. A one-year-old baby, who was traveling in the truck, is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The accident happened at 5:30 a.m. on Monday.  The deceased are: Francisca, 50, Martha ,24, and two men. The truck carried 65 people. The young driver tried to flee and was captured about four kilometers from where the tragedy occurred. He told that an animal had crossed in front of the truck so he had to make a sharp turn to avoid the animal, however witnesses refuted the story. According to head of the Police, the young driver is in detention and will be charged with the crime of reckless homicide in the Specialized Criminal Court of Adolescents. The young man will turn 16 on November 10. |

We need someone to transport 65 people in the back of this rickety assed truck. I'll do it. How old are you? 15, but I'm mature for my age. For example I'm already a heroin addict and the father of 6 kids. Your hired.  |

I love the use of gloves and other universal precautions 3rd world populations take what they can get and have no idea of the potential hazards. MOST 15 y/o males arent mentally fit or mature enough to handle great responsibility. I totally agree that the responsibility should not only lie upon the juvenile, but also for the ones who enabled him.  |

I feel bad for the kid... he shouldn't have been driving. I hope that the rest of his life isn't spent in prison.

Nickeraguan taxi by the pound! Don't blame the 15 year old kid.... he's sick at Gran Turismo, Flatout 4 and Need for Speed and with those mad skills who would of known this could have happened! |
