Yesterday around 4:30 pm five people who were playing in a tube/tubing at a sanitation station in Brazil became victims of an electric discharge, after one of them leaned against a stripped-down electric wire, got a shock and screamed for help.

The other four friends came to rescue when they heard the shouts and were also electrocuted.

N. S. d. S., 27, was one of the electrocuted.
Late in the afternoon, a Fire Department team that came to the scene was able to locate three more dead bodies.

They are brothers, D. and E. S. d. S., and J. C. C. Another young man, H. C., the only one who escaped alive, was rushed to the Municipal Hospital and remains hospitalized, without risk of death.

H. is J.C.C's brother, one of the fatal victims.

The manager of the sanatation station went to the scene but the population in a moment of revolt threatened to lynch him. He had to leave in a hurry and went to the Civil Police station to be heard by a delegate on call.

He's lucky to have gotten away.. he's lucky they all didn't mob style rally to the police station. The Brazilian police would have given him up to make the people happy

I was going to respond with "it wouldn't matter to some rambunctious boys" but I scrolled back up and read the information again and it says that dude was 27! so I'm kinda on the "they should've been more careful" fence... still technically sad, but....yeah

Why would those people want to lynch the manager? Did he force those idiots to play around there with a gun to their heads?
