The pay is pretty shitty, especially compared to the amount of tedious, disgusting work involved. I did a ton of research several years ago because I was interested in doing that type of work but decided against it. You're on call 24/7 and at the time the highest pay was maybe $12/hr US. There is so much involved with cleaning up biohazardous waste.
