Brazil, CCTV shows the moment when a car crossed the central bed and invades the opposite lane of the freeway. The Opel Corsa hits a Peugeot. Other vehicles soon got involved in the same accident.

Two women inside the Corsa died while a man and a child in the same car got injured. Two people inside the Peugeot also got injured. The accident caused a traffic jam of 6 miles.

To me it looked like the Corsa was going at speeds far beyond what is safe for a hatchback supermini. Shot like a bullet into the opposite lane when it lost control.

~ The Corsa was speeding, then there were two women, a man, & child in it. I wonder who was driving, which has alot to do with how this accident happened.
~ I assume the man & child were riding in back, & the two women in front.
~ It only takes a second to get distracted & get into this kind of accident, especially at high speeds.
~ As one can see, the Corsa started drifting then lost control as it veered suddenly towards it's left.
