3 Killed when Hitmen Randomly Shot at People Drinking at Bar
Colombia, It happened at a commercial establishment where several people drank alcoholic beverages last night. As in the so-called times of violence, people were shot everywhere, in chairs, platforms and on the street. Hitmen would have arrived there to shoot without warning, before the astonished gaze of people who shouted desperately to call the police. After the hail of bullets stopped residents tried to help the wounded. One of the people that died was a minor. Given this, the authorities deployed an operation by land and air to find the whereabouts of the aggressors who would have managed to flee through a wooded area. |

"Hitmen" are normally regarded as killers with specific targets, not random shooters.

maybe in this case, sicarios, hitmen, that were hired to shoot random people at that bar, perhaps being a warning to the owner for protection money he or she didn't pay or a bar where rival gang members hang out so the target was the bar, where random people were drinking liquor.

~ When it is a random shooting by hitmen, then it is a tactic used to discourage a business that was previously deemed safe to attend. ~ And, yes, probably from not paying enough protection money when the extortion price keeps going up, as business keeps going up. |

Who knows what the "intended target,"did to deserve that, but that was definitely the wrong place to be for all of those innocent folks at that time.
