Re: 3 Friends Record Themselves Drowning In Pond
Swimming seems like something that should just come naturally. Obvious it doesn't, but it's so weird. It almost seems like it would be reflexive to know how to leverage your arms and legs to proper you. That is eerie.

Re: 3 Friends Record Themselves Drowning In Pond
My parents started teaching me how to swim when I was a baby so I cant imagine not being able to swim. It's as natural to me as walking so I can't understand how a person cannot know at least something about it. It's common sense that a drowning person will take you down with them. It's common sense that if you take a deep breath and hold it you'll float. All they had to do was kick their legs and hold their breath until they got to the bank a few feet away. Senseless.

Re: 3 Friends Record Themselves Drowning In Pond
Surely you don't have to be a 'good swimmer' for your survival instincts to kick in? They were only a few feet from the waters edge. They weren't expected to perform a 50 metre breast stroke here, just paddle like fuck towards land, or die. |
