Re: 3 Friends Record Themselves Drowning In Pond
Thank you for sharing this. I'm going to remember it for my nieces/nephews. I've never read an account like this.

Re: 3 Friends Record Themselves Drowning In Pond
I've heard that for people who can't tread water, it's like they are trying to grab onto something solid to hold themselves up but there's nothing to grab so they panic. The panic makes them sink and inhale water which just snowballs the entire process until they eventually drown. You will see in videos of 2 or more people that can't swim they cling to each other, pushing each other under; they will literally grab onto anything solid while in a state of panic. As someone who can swim I can't imagine what it would be like for someone who can't, but that got me thinking. The closest thing I can imagine it being like, is if I was in a zero gravity environment, and trying to grab onto something solid, with nothing solid to grab within reach. A can imagine a sense of helplessness and panic set in. |

I don't think they were people who could swim and froze up. It looked like they were just too retarded to live, and nature obliged.

Re: 3 Friends Record Themselves Drowning In Pond
How on earth is it possible that you drown like that? That water had absolutely no current? If that is correct I am at a complete loss of words on how is it your not able to paddle your feet to keep your head above water. You shouldn't need swimming lessons to figure that out, right? Or do you need someone to educate you that your body floats just a frog paddle is all you need to move around in the water?
