I am not a supported of "if he wants to die, let him" nobody really wants do die, your mind gets damaged from being depressed and when you have way to much stress, you cant think properly. So his mind could have been repaired and he could have got married and had kids and lived life the way he wanted to but his damaged mind got the best of him and caused his death.
