That's because you seem to be the only one that thinks this. Pay attention to how she favored one leg over the other after getting shot in the stomach and note what happened when she put even a little weight on the wrong side, and then watch how she used her left arm to deliberately grab her baby as she fell. The baby had a very strong grip for sure, but her mom had at least one arm wrapped around her the entire time. Go frame by frame if you can't see it.
