It's called postmortem lividity. The blood settles in the lowest points of the body based on gravity, where it then congealed and turns a bluish-purple color. Forensic techs can use this to determine if a body was moved after death.

Horrible, tragic and totally preventable. As a bus driver myself, you never lock it up without doing a 'post trip', to prevent this very thing. Lazy ass driver- it's on his head.   |

I don't understand how the fuck something like that happens. The kids get off the bus together. If the other 2 lagged behind they would've banged on the windows to get out. How could no one hear that for hours?? Poor babies.... Shit. That is all...
