Venezuela. A serious traffic accident occurred at approx 2:00 pm yesterday that left two men dead and a woman seriously injured on the Central-Western Highway.

The deceased victims were identified as Yiovanny J. R. V. (34) and Júnior A. G. G. Katherine G. (39), who was traveling as Júnior's passenger, sustained serious injuries.

According to reports from Police, Júnior was driving a Toyota Fortuner when, for reasons still under investigation, he lost control, jumped the median and crashed head-on into a Chevrolet Impala traveling in the opposite direction, driven by Yiovanny.

As a result of the strong impact, the Chevrolet immediately burst into flames, causing the instant death of its driver, who was trapped inside the smoking vehicle. Júnior, meanwhile, was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
