Damn now comes in the phrase "dont be a hero." That didn't look like a very high jump, but the first one look like he impacted hard onto his stomach and chest probably causing some blunt trauma that caused him to black out and drown, the other however did a slightly better jump but didn't move immediately, fuck that sucks.

Not fake. Jumping from half that height and it will take you atleast 3 to 5 seconds to resurface. It seemed they didn't even go 2 ft under the water. It was to shallow and than they panicked and the second guy jumped in. They didn't realise it was shallow. In a situation like that you don't have time to think.

Jumping so close to one of the cement bases of the bridge is crazy. Most probably hit an undetwater base outcrop and broke their backs & drowned. Darwin Award finalists!

I live in Auckland & a guy was killed last week jumping off the Auckland harbour bridge at 43 metre drop.Silly guy was running from the police

They didn't jump well. They were probably drunk. The impact of the water killed them for sure. It was probably about forty feet down, and the impact alone from just a thirty foot drop without keeping a tight limb locked dive COULD kill some people. Adding just another ten or twenty feet is going to significantly increase their inertia. Then, you take into account the fact that dude number one basically flopped when he hit, instead of keeping his arms tight and dude number two was scrawny as hell... It's not that surprising if the impact from the water alone killed them.
