I'm not sure how high that was. But i regularly jump from my bridge (about 60 feet) with no problems....it must have been either the way the landed...or something in the water. We have had instances when people will throw shopping carts in where we jump, or other objects we could hit (dam punks) rest assured it was not the impact with the water. Definitely something below the surface we are unable to see.

Um, they both jumped with their legs "apart" common sense tells you you are going to feel an impact if you do not cut the water with feet together at that height!!!!!!

Yeah to be honest, I have been dispatched to a few jumpers before and there wasn't much difference from these guy's and the few i have seen. So it could be staged, or very well is. A few reasons being: They both land in a position which the safest, if anything is would break ankles, feet, legs, maybe a rib or two. The first jumper swims away after and isn't seen in the shot afterwards meaning he probably drifted below the bridge to swim away and not been seen. The film is also very short, and no story is posted along. Also they looked like they were pre-planning the jump with the swim trunks, and usually most recreational jumpers will know where there jumping and the dangers if any exsist. To me, it's fake. But of DR, ya never know!!  |

Jumping from that distance into a water will have pretty much the same effect of hitting the floor, unless you jump in a standing position and brake through the water, if you jump sitting, lying or any other position, same thing in video likely to happen
