Re: 2 Idiots, 1 Bridge
That or hitting something underneath. The bigger question is, why did the 2nd guy jump? BTW hitting water from that high can cause your spine to compress and the bones in your feet to shatter. It is like jumping onto cement not water.

Re: 2 Idiots, 1 Bridge
Sorry guys. First post on here. Great web site Chris. I'm busting this video. They are not dead. You can see the 3 ft. mark where the bridges 'base' is visible, and the water is clearly deeper than 8 ft. where they land. My friends and I cliff dived off of 70-90 ft cliffs in HI. So I am comfortable saying the way they jumped, they knew what they were doing. Coupled with that was a 40 ft jump in deep water. and The first jumper swam away after the second guy jumped in. Just look at 1:30, the first jumper magically moved that far that fast? Not to mention neither belly flopped or land poorly, and the first guy swam for a bit; which you don't do if you knock yourself out or break your back. I know because my buddy knocked him self out and I had to grab him; you hit and you are out. Spoof video!

Re: 2 Idiots, 1 Bridge
Uh... what the hell just happened there? Well, I mean, I can't deny the fact that I did watch the video, so... Anyhooo, I see what other people previously wrote, but I still find it hard to believe that two guys went to see St. Peter as easy as that from jumping off a bridge that really wasn't that tall. Naturally, the impact force is tremendous, no doubt. And sure, it probably was relatively shallow waters, so increasing the danger of being seriously wounded and such wouldn't be an exaggeration, but uh... dying? Broken backs? Both of them? First of all, when they both went feet first in the water, there's a lot of dense bone that needs crushing before the back rack gets to start crumbling and... but oh well. I'm not an anatomist or anything, but the odds of both going bye-bye being 1:1 like in a 100 %, what's the likeliness of that in statistical probability calculus? Probably one of the weirdest sentences I've ever written in my life, actually... And honestly, I've got no clue to any of this, I'm just writing to fill some space... But honestly # 2, I really don't quite get it... Let's go hunting, Hunter! |

Re: 2 Idiots, 1 Bridge
then go jump from 25 meters into shallow water, then you are dead, and I'am happy about it. please just do it, the world dont need you. i agree that the first one was stupid, but the second one not, at least he wanted to secure him. I hope your family die on aids. |

Re: 2 Idiots, 1 Bridge
If they die it will be from drowning. They're maybe 40-50 feet up, they wouldn't get anywhere near traveling fast enough to compare to the SF bridge info that was posted.
