Grown up in China, I (and every experienced driver/pedestrian) will seriously warn you that while on the roads, be prepared to expect anything, at anytime and in any direction, regardless of conditions, signs, traffic lights and etc. Walking in the middle of the fucking highway + during night + eyes glued to the cellular fucking phone = triply guaranteed suicide, regardless of country, though. |

Proof that while your head is buried in your cell phone, you're missing 80% of what is happening in the world around you. Good lesson to show all the kids. The oddest thing, she was so engrossed in whatever was on that phone, she didn't even flinch when the car hit her friend. It had to have made an impact sound as loud as one of those jumpers from the 13th floor hitting the pavement. |

i wonder if she realizes how dumb she looks on camera. The incoming car literally was close enough to brush her pants and she actually turns back around to look for her friend in the direction they were headed like her friend was hiding behind her.
