These cops are trained to use only the amount of force necessary to mitigate an incident, make an arrest, or protect themselves or others from harm, so only when Hong ran up on the officer with a knife were they forced to use lethal force. It wasn't until Hong dropped the knife after being shot did the Cop reach for his less than lethal taser and then back to using lethal force again when Hong tried to apprehend the downed cop's gun. IMO he should have been shot and killed earlier in the equation, but modern progressives have put cops under the microscope. |

Those were 9mm rounds. I don't believe many dept are issuing the 40 S&W lately. Notice how hes able to fire very rapidly. One reason the 9mm is being used again, its just easier to shoot and control in these lightweight polymer frame handguns. |

The cop ABSOLUTELY did not do "everything right". Fuck that. He needs to be reprimanded for waiting so damn long before opening fire. He put his fellow officer in mortal danger for no reason whatsoever.
