Although I agree that there isn't any undeniable evidence that the woman was truly raped, I could also imagine a lawless country like Brazil would not be the most ideal place to trust the justice system to punish a rapist. With all the street justice videos coming out of Brazil, I really wouldn't be amazed if at least part of it is caused by the lack of an effective justice system.

Even if he did, claiming it's then OK to kill him is just excusing another fucked up event. Maybe HE was raped as a kid so "fair is fair"? That retarded way of thinking messes the world up. But hey, it's emotionally satisfying for people who lack critical thinking skills, so that's OK. Except when someone gives a reason for doing something extreme that I subjectively don't agree is good enough, then I'll condemn them as barbarians or developing world scum. |
