17 Year Old Skater Going Downhill Hit and Killed by a Car
Brazil, A video shows the moment a young skater, 17, is run over and killed by a car on Sunday afternoon. The fatal accident occurred on a hill road linking to the highway. A group of 4 skaters practicing downhill mode, were practicing their skills. They went down a slope with a curve at high speed while being filmed by someone else when a vehicle appeared coming from the other direction. The 17 year old went to the opposite lane when a Fiat Palio hit him. He was rescued and taken to the Hospital but died short time later. Witnesses said the accident occurred at around 1PM. They said that before the accident there was a skate event on site. The body was sent to the morgue. The driver of the vehicle was in shock and was also hospitalized. |

The truck driving down hill ahead was meant to offer do,e protection surely? He was obviously too far ahead so didn't see the point him being there other than to film but even that he didn't do well. |
