A Mexican high school student touched a light pole in a flooded street and when he did he received an electric shock and fell down. One of his classmates saw this and tried to help him but he also touches the pole and falls down electrocuted. Another young student seeing that his friends are lying in the water tries to help them but unfortunately he also receives an electric shock due to the contact of the metal structure with the cables, which were not isolated.

However, it was thanks to the quick reaction of a neighbor who could save two of the three young people from drowning.

Stefany pointed out that the first young man she took out of the water regained consciousness and ran away. The other two young people were taken by a van driver who was passing by the place to receive medical attention, but one of them died.

The young people were 12 and 14 years old, the victim was 14 years old.

I'm guessing the one that died was the first one. The 2nd kid fell on him and held him underwater the entire time they were on screen. That totally sucks. Killed by the lack of standard maintenance the rest of the 1st world takes for granted.

The first one to get electrocuted might've created a shorter circuit for the current to flow through. Maybe his body saved the other two.
