According to the coordinator of Samu de Jaboatão, Marcelo Alves, although there is a law warning that baths cannot be carried out in the locality, people insist on taking risks Within a period of 24 hours, two teenagers were attacked by sharks on Piedade beach, in Jaboatão dos Guararapes, in Greater Recife. The most recent case occurred on Monday (6), and the victim, identified as a woman, K. T. F., was injured in the regions of her left arm, belly and leg. Around 1:20 pm, she was taken to the Regional Hospital (HR), where she underwent surgery and had her arm partially amputated. According to the health unit, the young woman is lucid and recovering, despite the shock. The other teenager, who had his identity preserved, was attacked last Sunday (5) and also had to amputate a limb, the right leg, after being bitten by the animal in the thigh. some will never listen.  |

I’ve swam with sharks for 29years. Never been attacked. Almost drowned from being hit by a Great White’s tail, but never bitten. Secretly want to be though….

Both. I haven’t been swimming for a few years, my hubby HATES the ocean. What he gets for being from Pittsburgh and me from San Diego, California.
