Probably the highest risk move in grappling, the flying arm bar or triangle. And here, the guy didn’t even stuff it by dropping his weight down on him, it was all the energy and momentum of black shirt. If you can visualize, theoretically black shirt wants to catch his arm in between his legs and clamp down with his feet near the shoulder opposite of the arm he has. To defend, A good grappler would drop his weight immediately and hunker down with the attacker, because to defend an armbar you want your body to be balled up, rather than elongated and easier for limbs to be extended. Could you imagine if this would’ve happened? I’m not sure if the guy died, but pretty sure he most certainly would have, given what we’ve already seen here. |
