Re: Worlds Fattest Man
You are exactly right.....Food can be an addiction...a very dangerous one...It's a never ending cycle..This guy is using food as a drug, which causes him to hate himself because of his weight, which causes him to binge on more of his drug...food...which digs him into a deeper hole...It really does suck...Hell, i used to do this...Although i wasn't 1000 pounds...i was about 270...got on some medicine for depression....I quit feeling bad and resorting to food to cheer me up...I've lost 93 lbs and i'm smaller than i was in 8th grade...I'm 27

Re: Worlds Fattest Man
Actually.. it IS! Its like being an alcoholic, junkie, sugar addiction, also hunger for wallpaper, such as FOOD, they're all the same, it is really serious and should be treated well till its gone, FOREVER!!! It lives in your brain, not in body or how you looks like, if you are big or not, you can still be thin as fucking cable and still eat like you were the persons of 12. See me lives with this HELL, I have sugar-addiction and it is a real, real HELL to live with, and there is no fucking help for it seems like, "cause you are not fat...." It is killing too, inside its screaming no ones hear you, EVER, cause "You are still too thin to got problem"....... Maybe you thinks HE is to thin too , for geting help I mean ????? SICKENING !!!!!!!!!!! |

Re: Worlds Fattest Man
Agreed, it's bad enough when a person has a problem like that. UK health department was not even trying to help him. Huge congrats on losing your extra pounds. What med helps depression? I could also lose about 80 pounds with no regrets. I wonder what role this guys mother had in his early childhood that taught him it was ok to just eat and eat and eat. Food as an emotional reward? Hmm? |

Re: Worlds Fattest Man
I believe 'some' of you don't get that food addiction is the same as alcohol or drug addiction.... A crack, coke, meth addict will use until it kills them, food is the same thing, just slower.... It's a very real addiction.... Hard part being you can extract drugs or drink from one's diet, but you cannot rid yourself of food. Compassion is a wonderful thing. |
