Worker Lost Both Legs when Collecting Garbage
A Cambodian man was collecting garbage along the road all night, in the rain, when he was hit from behind by a car that slammed into a garbage truck. This resulted in both legs being severed. The car driver was a Chinese man and appeared to be drunk and fled into a building and reappeared later on to get in his car and drove away.

Poor guy. He was in the Wong place at the Wong time and because he was facing away from the approaching car he had no idea that there was anything afoot and ended up getting trashed.

Sucks when a guy is just trying to make a living by honest work and gets his day cut short like that. I hope the person is found and properly punished. |

#1 prize for picking the most trivial aspect of the whole story! But I know what you mean. Who knows, maybe he was knocked out of his shoes by the impact? Or maybe his soles were so tough that he just didn't need shoes? |
