Now I see it. Site is buggy sometimes. I think I saw a documentary on her. Wasn't she the one that a US couple took in and paid to have corrective surgery done? |

She was burned somehow as a young child, and they didn't have money to visit a real doctor. So she layed in bed while the burns healed and her skin connected all over the place as she healed. Basically like it melted into itself. It happens to a lot of burn victims in poor countries. When they cant pay for a doctor, the family does their best to keep them alive and infection free. And it mostly consists of laying on their backs while the skin...does what it does...so sad  |

this young girls story reached a world famous burn doctor, who specializes in burn reconstructive surgery. he did repair her so that she is now able to move her neck from side to side. amazing story really.
