The SECOND they saw feet it became a medical emergency. You can, in some cases, manually turn a baby by manipulating the abdomen, but.... prolonged trapping in the birth canal like that can lead to significant hypoxic injury.

I read that the baby began to cry soon after? That's a shock. I'm literally shocked that this baby lived.

I had my 3rd. baby girl turned in my belly at 39 weeks. She stayed in place and the birth went fine. It did feel really weird when she flipped tho!
