Not if the cord is compressed between the head and the wall of the vagina, which is actually one of the greatest risks of vaginally birthing a breech baby. I believe a trapped head is one of the biggest causes of fetal death and/or disability due to lack of oxygen during a breech vaginal delivery.

Thanks, I have never seen a natural breach human birth. I once birthed a baby lamb that was breached. It was very scary. It survived as well.
