Woman Jumps from Hotel Window After Quarrel with Her Valentine Lover
The woman, 20, a resident of Sunder Nagri, had checked into the budget-friendly Hotel Santosh Residency earlier yesterday to celebrate Valentine on Saturday with a 22-year-old man from Bulandshahr. Following a heated quarrel between the two, the woman jumped from the 4th floor window in anger.  An employee at a ground-floor electronics shop, noticed the woman standing near the window and sensed she might jump. He quickly stacked empty cardboard cartons beneath her to cushion the fall. The boxes absorbed the impact of the fall. While she lost consciousness and sustained serious injuries, her condition was reported as stable and not life-threatening. The Delhi Police arrived at the scene, detained the man for questioning and initiated a forensic examination of the hotel room. |
