They have to clean out her eye socket cause it gets leaves, flies and dirt in it. As for how it happened.... your guess is as good as mine. Fire would be my guess. Some tropical infection?

while unfortunate, this has to be the most interesting looking wound Ive ever seen. Someone should pay to bring this woman over to the USA, teach her english and get her on TV, she would make big $$. At least make the most of her misfortune.
