Re: Woman Attacked by Own Pitbull
I've owned the breed my whole life, worked as a groomer when i was younger, and i got bot at least 3 times a day from Chiuahuahs. Bit badly enough to need stitches, But you don't see me wanting to ban them. I say ban stupid people who don't train there dog's from owning dogs. THAT what solve the problem.

Re: Woman Attacked by Own Pitbull
Some agressive pitbulls over 200 years have been bread with agresive and muscular pitbulls till you end up with the ultra teritorial flesh ripper ideal for dog fights or guard dogs. Some people buy these specially bread pitbulls for family pets then some of them rip open their kid. The only way to protect all people is to ban all these special breeds. With a dog like a labradore you can pull the dog off it it goes nuts on someone but a special breed pitbull cannot be pulled off. |

Re: Woman Attacked by Own Pitbull
The problem is because Pitbulls have become such a popular breed that breeders inbreed these dogs (cats can inbreed successfully dogs cant) and the frontal lobe of their brain gets pushed in as they grow which forces them to become uncontrollably violent, its because thier skull doesnt fuse correctly.

I own a pitbull had her since she was a pup..not once has she tried to bite my children or anybody else..she barely even barks when someone comes to the door. Re: Woman Attacked by Own Pitbull
its not the breed that is the problem. all dogs can turn violent if not raised properly. ill bet my paycheck that the dog was being abused or neglected weather the lady knew she was doing it or not. a lot of people just dont know how to raise dogs and they reinforce negative behavior without understanding what the consequences will be. the unfortunate thing about pit bulls is their strength and tenacity. they wont stop until they achieve their goals or die. |

Re: Woman Attacked by Own Pitbull
Why can't you believe it? Just because we disagree on one topic does not mean i do not like you or hope we can get along when it comes to other topics. You've got every right to have a disagreeing opinion, and every right to share the same opinion. Our opinions do not have to define the way we treat others. : ) I'd love to see a photo of your dog some times.
